Fifth Annual Betsy Price High School Art Competition 2019

High School artists in Fort Worth, TX and surrounding areas were invited to a special art competition. The top selected students were featured in a 2-week art exhibition at Fort Works Art Gallery. Mayor Betsy Price presented the awards to the three finalists. The top Final Grand Prize Winner's work is featured in City Hall at the Mayor's office for the duration of one year.

2019 Betsy Price Competition Juror

Spencer Wigmore is the Assistant Curator of Paintings, Sculpture and Works on Paper at the Amon Carter Museum of American Art. Previously, he was the Wyeth Foundation Predoctoral Fellow at the Smithsonian American Art Museum in Washington DC, where he conducted research on his doctoral dissertation at the University of Delaware. Before joining the Amon Carter, Wigmore held museum fellowships and internships at institutions including the National Gallery of Art, the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, and the Denver Art Museum.
